  • 7/20: GUIDE YOURSELF
We all know the typical meditation pose. It's a beginning. Or let's say "the" beginning. But with time, no matter the surroundings and circumstances, you want to benefit of the "meditation training". You want to be present, be right there and right now. Later on, meditation happens while mowing the lawn, while drawing, while watching a fire. And then, learn to really use your brain. We are allowed to imagine our future. To plan. Our brain is a great tool. Once WE think and (mostly negative) popped up thoughts are no longer in charge. 
Find your kind of meditation.

Meditation is often seen as a spiritual ritual. Yet, it's nothing else but train your mind. How often are we lost within thoughts. Thoughts that just popped up. Who made those? Was it you? Or was "it" thinking for you? Meditate. Just five minutes a day. Five minutes to breathe. To regulate yourself. Five minutes just for you.

  • 5/24: GUIDE YOURSELF
Even when we logically understand that what has happened, happened, we are often chased by belief systems. We may have forgiven, but not forgotten. Even though we wanted to. It's within us and shows within reactive or relationship patterns. Patterns, we often do not even like, yet, they are simply normal for us. What if we could change that? We first need to learn what "normal" looks like. Let's call it a "reality check". We need to honestly check if our truth really is the truth we want to live. We need to check what kind of relationships we want to have. Furthermore, we need to check how we want to react to circumstances, to people, to the world. Get inspired by role models, relationships you admire, and set your own terms of normal. 
Out of my own experiences, I wholeheartedly recommend any form of coaching or therapy sessions for this step. You are very welcome to have a read on my website about "root work".
